Finally finished everything on Thursday...still waiting on one permit for the patio, but that doesn't stop us from having fun.

2009 started with a bang!

Went on a beuatiful hike in the woods we had not done for a couple years. Brought the dogs and they loved it...until Minnie hit her butt on something. A quick yelp, blood on the arse, a trip to the vet, some stiches, drugs, and a ridiculous cone around the head for the next two weeks. And as bad as she may feel wearing the cone we have no desire to spend another $333 for the same procedure.

Now, just got to keep the other dogs away too.

What fun with the cousins

After turning 40 on a Wednesday, we headed off to see Robyn, Mike and the kids. Friday night we went to some small town that had cajun pokla music. Who knew the cousins could dance although I never did figure out how you pokla danced to that music. We had an awesome time. Abbi has a mean wiggle and the boys enjoyed thinking they were playing video games although we didn't give them any money. Can they stay young forever???
